All of the barges in our young fleet are nearly identical open hoppers with a length of 195’, a width of 35’ and a molded depth of either 11’ or 12’. Ten watertight hull compartments offer unsurpassed safety and reliability.

Our vessel crews are comprised of highly skilled professionals who are committed to customer satisfaction by offering prompt and reliable service. This tradition has carried on since 1948 and is instilled in every generation of our people. In fact, several of our employees represent their families’ second, third, and even fourth generation of Crounse employment.

Our Traffic Department, located in Maysville, provides timely and accurate information to customers by phone, fax, and email, and also provides electronic access to shipping reports.
